I know I've been promising blogs for ages and I haven't delivered... but I promise I've been busy! ... giving birth! 3 weeks ago our lovely Alice arrived in the world. After regular prelabour contractions on and off for 5 weeks and a long labour Alice decided it was time at last! As they say, good things come to those who wait. She's such a beautiful darling. Oskar loves her to pieces and just wants to hold her. He thinks it's funny when she makes noises and says, "Hej hej Alice!" expecting a reply! So sweet! I was pretty out of it for quite a while after the delivery (photographed I should add by Juliana Wiklund) so it took me a whole 6 days to pick up a camera and I haven't managed more since then. Heres my favourite of our delivery photos taken by juliana. Alice is just a couple of minutes old, lifted up to my chest for the first time.

Olivias Christening

It's been a while since I blogged! I am now 8 months pregnant have a lot of difficulty getting around so I haven't been able to photograph anything since the beginning of July. I'm keeping busy though! I have a whole lot of exciting things to blog, such a thank you card designs, book designs, new albums, my own family/pregnancy photo session and more.... I will try and post a couple of times per week from now until the baby arrives so keep checking in!Anyway, to the first of my blogs after the Summer... during my holidays I went to visit my brother and his family in Plymouth (UK) for the special event of baby Olivias christening! It was so lovely to see Richard and Katy with their beautiful liltte Olivia, who I have to say, is so like my brother when he was small! Well, with my limited ability to move (I was using crutches to walk at this time) here's a selection of photos I took on Olivias special day.

Olivia is Oskars first cousin and so since I'm expecting a little one very soon it was so wonderful to see Oskars reaction to her. He just wanted to kiss her and stroke her all the time. I'm so looking forward to taking these type of pictures of my little ones together!...it's not long to go now!

In the evening all the family went out for a pub dinner, English style! We were a little nervous as to how Oskar was going to take the evening but he found plenty to amuse himself with! Isn't he so cute in his little suit!

Nina and Fredrik Married at Djurönäset!

This weekend I photographed Nina and Fredriks wedding. After their lovely engagement shoot I was so looking forward to this day. The setting was at Djurönäset, the perfect archepelago setting reachable by car. The location, the rooms, the staff were all lovely. Most importantly though, Nina and Fredrik were beaming happiness, bliss, love. They were just perfect! So, here are just a few of my favourites! I had such a hard time picking out those to blog that I put together a little slideshow to show a few more!

This was my last wedding of the year. Boo hoo. I am now 5 months pregnant and the pelvic girdle pains are causing too much pain and difficulty to continue. Since I suffered similar problems during my last pregnancy I could make the cancellations necessary in good time and help all my late Summer couples find amazing alternative photographers. I'm going to be missing out on loads of beautiful weddings but I'll be following lots of blogs looking out for 'my' couples!! So, with this, my last wedding of the year I had the assistance of Özgür who was brilliant in lugging my heavy bag around! Thank you so much! Keep an eye out on his blog for his favourite shots of the day. The ones I saw in camera were fantastic!

To my followers, don't fret, I will still be blogging, although not over these next few weeks while I take some vacation. I have a few things left in the pipeline and eventually photos of our baby girl (so they tell us) when she shows up in the Autumn!

Scarlet, Sydney, London, Brooklyn and Jimmy!

Last year I photographed Scarlet, Jimmy and Sydney while Scarlet was pregnant with twins. Now a year on I photographed the new bigger family complete with London and Brooklyn! The girls were just adorable in their matching purple dresses and cardigans! London is a very serious little one whilst Brooklyn is quick to laugh...but they both laughed away on the swings!!

Apparently Scarlet and Jimmy have had no luck getting a photo with all three girls looking in the same direction. It takes some patience!..but we got there in the end as well as all the beautiful moments of love and laughter that I just love to capture! I'm really looking forward to designing their book! It's going to be great!

Sara received one of my gift certificates for her birthday and she chose to get some pictures taken together with her boyfriend! aaahh! I Love it! They arrived ready for their photo shoot in Tullinge, nervous, both claiming, "we don't look good on camera."...Well! NONSENSE is all I can say! They were both beautiful, perfecty relaxed and radiated happiness; basically they made my job a very easy one...don't you think?

Married at Karlbergs Slott

Last weekend I photographed this beautiful and stylish couples wedding at Karlbergs Slott. I have photographed many families in the Slott park but never a bridal couple so I was thrilled when they wanted me to document their special day.

Following tradition the groom arrived with the bridalbouquet in hand ready for a their First Look. I love it when a couple chooses this and almost all of 'my' couples do and they love it! I think I captured the grooms look of joy perfectly as he turned to face his beautiful bride for the first time!

This was the most beautiful viel ever, a Spanish viel I think it's called, and we had just a little breeze...and the help of Gisela to capture these lovely shots!

I don't normally post so many individual shots but this bride is just so stunning I couldn't help myself!

I think these photos say everything about Viola. Sweet, happy and loves her mum and dad so much! At the start of the session Viola was a little shy and nervous with the new face with the big camera but after 5 minutes all was well as she twirled in her dress and gave me a flower! She's such a cutie full of love and cuddles for her parents!

Angelika and Johnnie Married at Noors Slott

This Saturday was the kind of days all brides dream about when they plan their wedding... blue skies and all the sun you can imagine! It was perfect. For us photographers it is a challenge to find nice soft light, but I managed...mostly!

My second shooter, Cherrie, and I arrived at Noors Slott to photograph the last of Angelika and Johnnies preparations...this means getting dressed! This is a big deal for any bride. It's a magical moment when you put on that very special gown. Suddenly it's real, it's now! You're getting married to the man of your dreams today! I remember the feeling so well!

An emotional first look at eachother!

Angelika and Johnnie's ceremony was outdoors under an avenue of trees. Beautiful! At the end of their ceremony several of their guests sang together each standing up in turn. It was soooo beautiful! I can't tell you how much, other than that it was a good job my lens had vibration reduction because my eyes poored and my hands shook!

Last week I had the enormous pleasure of photographing this beautiful Swinglish family in the park behind Karlbergs Slott! Simone and Leon are such adorable cute kids full of life and laughter. Here are some of my favourites. It was such a hard choice picking out the photos for this blog. It's a good job that I will be designing a photobook of this session so I can spend some more time on their pictures!

Engagement session with Nina and Fredrik

This weekend I just arrived back from a wonderful holiday (in-parts) from Italy (photos to come soon)! My parents are currently living in Italy so off we all trotted to visit them in Vicenza. We stayed at the most amazing agriturism place on a farm a little outside Vicenza. I wrote that the holiday was wonderful in parts because for 4 out of the 7 days at least one of us was desperately ill with winter vomiting disease! AGAIN! We all had it in December last year and poor Oskar was hospitalised with it for 6 days but fortunately he coped much better this time!..anyway, home on Saturday and on Sunday straight back to work with an engagement session with Nina and Fredrik. But this was not an ordinary photo shoot, Nina and Fredrik had invited me to join them for a picnic after the shoot with my family! We sat in the sun enjoying the sea views from Djurö for an hour. How lovely is that?!

Anyway, now onto some of my favourite photos! Nina and Fredrik are probably the most in tune and loving couple of I have ever met! They are filled with all the excitement of the year to come! They have only been together a year but even after their first date they both knew they had each met 'the One'! beautiful!...

Susann and Ricky Part 2: Liams Christening!

After Susann and Ricky's wedding ceremony 5 month old Liam had a change of clothes to a lovely white dress for his christening! Liams dress had some lovely details connected the wedding. The ribbon in his dress was also used in Susannes bridal bouquet and Liam had the same corsage as Ricky! Both the ribbon and flower kept little Liam enterntained through the ceremony so he was in a perfect mood to be shown off and blessed!

This was the first time I had photographed a christening and I have to say that it was just as beautiful and special as a wedding! I'd love to do more! Here are some of my favourites!

Engagement session in Tullinge

Last week I met up, in the evening sun, with the most beautiful of couples for their engagement shoot at lake Tullinge. I will be shooting their wedding in a few weeks time so we met up to take some 'everyday' pictures while we got to know each other better! I love these sessions. They are the perfect complement to a couples wedding story. It's such an exciting time to be engaged, especially those weeks before the wedding when all the details are coming together and you are so full of hope...I remember how it was myself!

Anyway, These two are such a gorgeaous couple so at ease with eachother that my job was easy peasy!... I can't wait for their wedding!

Susann and Ricky Part 1: The Wedding!

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Ricky and Susann and the christening of their little Liam at Hagabergs kapell in Södertälje. This blog post is all about the wedding and another will follow shortly with my favourites from the christening!

Susann and Ricky don't need any introduction since I posted about them recently with the engagement photos! Needless to say, I was SOOO looking forward to seeing them on Saturday. The first time I got to see them was actually as they entered the church while the bells rang. I was sat in the aisle waiting for the first shot. I was the first of everyone in the church to see them and my eyes filled with tears. They were so beautiful!!

Since Susann and Rickys wedding was also a christening, they decided to do away with the evening reception which meant NO FIRST DANCE!!! I just couldn't have that!... so with the help of Spotify and Annas iphone we downloaded my all time favourite song (More than Words by Extreme) and ta da... the perfect first dance at the waters edge! ...More crying and stunning photographs!

Thank you for choosing me to be your photographer! It was a fabulous day! And huge thanks to Anna for second shooting and holding reflectors perfectly! (Keep an eye out on her blog for her version on this lovely wedding day!)

Workshop with Joe Buissink

I've had such an amazing day! I've been at a workshop with Joe Buissink organised by Scandinavian Photo. It's been a day full of emotions, tips of different photography techniques and quite simply bursting with inspiration! Taking shelter from the hail and snow (I know it's May!) we had a shoot with beautiful bridal models to put into action our new found ideas! I even borrowed a 70-200mm lens from Nikon which I loved!!

I have so many things in the pipe line, I'm so behind with my blogging! I have a fantastic engagement session to share, photos of Oskar and his new second cousin (sysling for your Swedes reading) and photos from another great workshop with Benny Ottosson and not to mention this weekends coming wedding!!... but for now, here a few of the days favourites with my time with the lovely Jessica!

Angelika and Jonnie; Engagement Photos in Gamla Stan

Last week I met up with Angelika and Jonnie for their engagement shoot in Gamla Stan. We had a blast! The light was absolutely perfect and they were perfect models. Both Angelika and Jonnie were so relaxed in front of the camera and had no problems sharing their feelings for eachother with my camera!

I'm so looking forward to their wedding day in June at Noors Slott! I'll be covering Angelika getting ready and my second shooter, Cherrie, will be covering Jonnie. They are going to have the perfect story to tell in the wedding photo book. Cherrie was also with me for this engagement shoot and you can see her lovely pictures on her blog.

Jenny and Niclas: Wedding at Stockholm Stadhuset

This weekend I photographed my first wedding of the season!

Jenny and Niclas had warm weather and sunshine which just a week before we would have thought only possible in dreams! It was the perfect day for Jenny and Niclas to finally get married after 17 years together!
They had a simple wedding ceremony at Stockholm Stadshuset (town hall) which is a beautiful location!

...since I love photographing children too I had to get some individual shots of their 3 beautiful boys Emil 8, Ludvig 6 and Hugo 2! Aren't they just the cutest in their 3 piece suits!

Susann and Ricky Engagement Photography Session

Last week I photographed Susann and Ricky's engagement session. In most of my wedding packages an engagement is included. It serves 2 purposes really. Firstly, we all to get to know eachother before the big day so that my couples can relax safe in the knowledge that they are good hands. Secondly, my couples get some nice photos of themselves in the ordinary clothes which they can frame for their homes or even in their wedding party program and wedding preparation website!..or order a photo guest book: a lovely photobook complete with blank pages for your guests to sign on the wedding day!

Susanne and Ricky have a little baby which they left with grandma for the first time since he was born to do their engagement session. I felt honoured! They were nervous and could only remember the horrors of their high school photos and eager for some photos that show them as they are and how much they love eachother, in a relaxed way!..and I think we managed that! Don't they just look beautiful and in love!

Eadward and Aelfie: a cold family session in Kattvik, Båstad

A couple of weeks ago I was in Skåne and had the pleasure of a family shoot on the beach! I was soooo looking forward to it. We still had half a meter of snow in our garden in Stockholm and Skåne promised a warm Spring weekend!... Then it snowed again! The snow melted quickly and we had our session as planned much to the shock of the little fingers of Eadward 18months and Aelfie 3.5 years!

I've not been so well since I got back from Skåne so this blog is long awaited but here are a few of my favourites!...

Now I'm off to curl up on my sofa and feel sorry for myself again!

A sleeping beauty

I'm snowed under at the moment designing books for families and editing photos for enlargements. I've even recently ordered what I hope to be the most amazing photo book to offer my wedding couples and families. The book is the same lay flat design as my current books but this one is handbound in leather (with loads of colour options)! The pages are about 2mm thick each so I am expecting my 30x30 cm book to weight about 2½ kg! I hope to receive it in a couple of weeks so keep an eye on my blog for pictures!

Since all blog posts should have a picture, I'm posting one of Anya, one of the enlargements her parents have ordered! Isn't she such a beauty! (Julia, I'll be working on your pictures next week!)

I have so many exciting shoots coming up this month including family sessions, an engagement session, a newborn session and in a month my first wedding of the season! Happy days! Freja, 4 months!

Yesterday I photographed the most adorable 4 months old Freja in her home. The apartment had the best light a photographer can imagine when going to a home shoot with a wall of North facing windows! Wonderful!

We had such a lovely time. Almost every prop and detail you see in these pictures is special, from the hat which Teresas had for the evening of her wedding, the patchwork quilt was hand made my Frejas grandmother, as was her white knitted dress which she will wear on her name giving ceremony next week. The ribbon on the dress was used in the detailing of Teresa and Andreas wedding day! It's so lovely to go to a home and photograph a family amoungst their treasured possessions! It makes the photos even more meaningful. Well, here are some of my favourites!

Teresa told me that Freja had started to show an interest in her feet and laying in the picnic basket gave her the perfect position to admire her little tootsies! This was the first time she had grabbed her own feet.

This is where Freja usually watch her dad cook dinner!

I'm really looking forward to designing this photobook!

A pair of lost favourites

I usually blog my favourite photos soon after a shoot, usually a few weeks before my clients see their entire selection. Jessica and Magnus have finally, after such a hard decsision, picked out their favourites and thankyou cards (I'll share these with you once their guests have received them!). Anyway, These 2 lovely moments caught were amoungst their favourites which I have just this evening converted to this beautiful soft toned black and white. I don't know how I missed these the first time!

Madeleine, the full photo shoot!

Madeleine enjoys photography but really wanted some nice pictures of herself. The pictures taken after Gymnasiet weren't really anything special. So, for Christmas she received the best of presents! I photo shoot with me!! On Sunday I photographed beautiful Madeleine in Tullnge. We timed the shoot for 3pm so we could catch that beautiful warm light before the sun went down and it was perfect! cold...but perfect!
I used th natural light 80% of the time with a little help of a reflector to balance the light on the shady side. We even used off camera flash for a few of the later shots but hopefully you can't tell which ones!

Anya, 6 weeks old!

This weekend I photographed baby Anya and her family in Stockholm. She was the cutest little baby and so tiny at just 6 weeks old!

I have so many shots to look through now and create a gallery that I haven't had time to look through them all yet but very quickly here are some favourites.

It's so lovely to shoot newborns. It's so important to capture those little wrinkles and hairs that dissapear in the first 2 or 3 weeks of life. It's amazing how quickly they grow and change. I can hardly bealive that it was only a year ago Oskar was that small! I'm so thankful for all the photos I have of him documenting all his different phases and expressions.

So, at last I have picked out no less than 129 favourites from all my family shoots during 2010! It was a really tough job but I am happy with the result! It's great to look back through these photos and remember all the wonderful families I've met. Each family has their own charms and I love to capture these in camera.

It was even harder picking out 5 pictures to add to this blog post and maybe my choice reflects what is dearest to me at the moment...children with their mums! But I do love to capture little ones with their dads too!!!

Raoul, 9 months

Anna and Fredrik played underwater rugby with my husband for several years before they moved to Germany 2 years ago for work. A sad loss to his team! Now they have finally moved back to Sweden, just not to Stockholm so I guess they'll be playing on opposing teams at some point in the year!

Anyway, more to the point, whilst visiting family in Stockholm over the Christmas break they took the chance to book a family shoot with me! Happy me! Raoul is the cutest little 9 month old! He curls his tounge when he laughs in a way most of us can never do! It was just my luck that the shoot was planned when we had a 90% partial solar exclipse (little did I know) so lamps and flashes were used in part, but Roaul didn't seem to care! Here are a few of my favourites with a few more in the slideshow to follow!

Best of 2010 - Weddings!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY COUPLES, FAMILIES AND READERS!

What a year 2010 has been! It's been the most exciting year ever watching both Oskar and my company grow more than I imagined!

I've recently been invited to join the exclusive group of Swedens best wedding photographers at brollopsfotografer.com! It's such an honour and I look forward to shooting even more weddings this year all over Sweden! The lovely little 3D book on this site links directly to an example wedding coffeetable book which are included in 2 of my standard packages this year!

I've loved shooting every one of my wedding couples and families and am so excited for all the people I will meet in 2011...as well as meeting all of my returning clients again! I have enjoyed running my business so much that I'm no longer running Lindholm Photography on evenings and weekends but am now dedicating 2 weekdays per week to it so I hope to have even more time for shooting!

To round up last year I thought I'd share a 'best of weddings 2010' slideshow. There are loads of previously unseen photos here as well as favourites I have already shared on my blog. I hope you enjoy!

Wilmer 6 months old!

Jag älskar mitt jobb som bröllopsfotograf i Stockholm och Skåne! Jag älskar även barn- och familjefotografering!

2 weeks ago Wilmer turned 6 months old. He is the baby of my good friend Eva-Lena who had asked me to photograph their little darling. Since it's now December and gingerbread is a symbol of Christmas in Sweden, Wilmer started his shoot in a little gingerbread man (pepperkaksgubbe) outfit! Isn't it sooo cute!

and sometimes only daddy cuddles will do...

and then mummy cuddles too...

and even family cuddles!

Eva-Lena loves the darker thick hair on the back of Wilmer's head. Oskar had the same!

Wilmer can just about sit up by himself now! There is a topple to the side every once in a while but it won't be long now untill he'll be happily upright!

He's learnt to clap his hands to walks around very happy clapping away!

until he sees my camera and tries to get it himself!

He is usually seen with a telephone of some sort in his hands.. he knows where they all are! Recently though he likes to let me talk in the phone!

If he doesn't have a telephone then he has a pen...and he won't let go of it even if he's playing with somthing else, such as the guitar hero!

And he loves to roll around and rub his face into our new fake fur blanket!

Baby Peter: 6 months old!

A little over a week ago I photographed part 2 of Peters first year! He is now 6 months old already! You may remember him from his 3 month shoot. Apart from being ALOT bigger now and having darker eyes, I don't think he's has changed all that much. He looks just his like his dad!

His mum just loves his chubby little feet and legs..aren't they adorable?!

His latest feat is to chew on his toes!

We even managed a few minutes outside in the perfect light of overcast skies, even though it was the middle of November!

I just LOVE this photo! Perhaps it's because I'm a mum too, but I just love to capture these little moments of mums and their babies! Perhaps I should have a post filled with such favourites?

Last month I blogged a sneak peak of Oliver's photo shoot. I've been so snowed under designing photobooks and albums for my families and wedding couples recently that this full post of Oliver has a taken a little longer than usual for me to blog. It's been a tough balance at the moment with so much to do and so little time. This shoot was just sooo much fun. I just love this age because it's all play! Autumn days with Oskar

What a beautiful Autumn it's been!

Since I am the one usually behind the camera there are not so many photos of Oskar and I together and even less of all three of us together. On top of that all of Oskars grandparents live FAR away! His Swedish half in Skåne and his English half in Germany and Kuwait! So, when my parents came to visit a couple of weeks ago I arranged for Juliana Wiklund (morethanwords.se) to photograph of my family. She took some absolutely wonderful photos of us all together which you can see on her blog here.

And on top of having such beautiful photos from Juliana, Olof and I were out for a walk today and Olof took my camera with wonderful results! (photos edited by me).

Indoor family photography with Inca and Liv

This weekend I had a family photo session with a lovely family. Unfortuantely it was pouring down with rain and since we had already rescheduled the shoot once before, we decided to go ahead and do the session indoors. I arrived armed with my bulky equipment made even bigger with my indoor lamp but I was VERY thankful I had it. It gets so dark so quickly now! By the time we finished our session it was pitch black outside!

Liv is just 13 months old and dashes around chasing her older sister at lightening speed! She's such a cutie.

Inca is 10, stunning and so tall! She was almost as tall as me! Sweden next top model perhaps?!!

Inca was so lovely taking care and playing with her baby siter. She didn't care one bit when Liv stuck her fingers in her eyes, or pulled her lips...

They are all so playful...

Yesterday we had snow in Tullinge! I woke up and it was snowing...in October! It was the wet heavy snow that sticks to trees so it was so beautiful hanging on the autumnal leaves.
I just had to go out and play with Oskar in it and take my camera! He was very confused..."a snowball?..what am I supped to do with this?"

Being a photographer I am usally the one behind the camera and rarely in front of it. So it's easy for me to complain about there being few decent photos of me!..although I am waiting for some shots taken of my family last week so I'm hoping my complaint will soon be solved!

Anyway, sometimes it's nice to get some photos taken by yourself, for youself, for your facebook profile or even for someone special. Yesterday I photographed Tie just because. He's such a laid back guy you wouldn't believe he's a Professor of Physics!

In August I started my Facebook fanpage with a contest. I would draw a random name of all my fans at the end of August. When I mailed Farrah and told her she had won the prize and asked her if she would like the free photo shoot she was totally thrilled!! She told me how she'd been following my blog just wishing she could do a photo shoot with her little girl Jasmine! Well, this Sunday the session date finally arrived. We had a beautiful sunny morning but it freezing cold! Literally! It was 0 degree centigrade outside but we had such fun playing with the Autumn leaves that it took us a while before we really noticed the cold!

Here are some of my favourite shots of the session. Jasmine is such a beautiful, happy little girl and only 18 months old!..and what a beautiful name to match!

I've always reviewed, sorted and edited my photos using Adobe bridge and Photoshop CS4 but I've finally made the step of testing Adobe Lightroom and this shoot is my first one edited using this new software. So far I like it but there is still LOADS left to learn. One thing I love though is the slideshow functionality. So for those clients out there waiting to see pictures, it'll be worth the wait...I promise!

Oskar is walking!!!

My little darling Oskar is walking!! Not just a couple of steps but suddenly across the room! He's been taking a few steps here and there for about 2 weeks but suddenly today... he can walk for real! He is just sooo cute! ..and only just turned 11 months old! Go Oskar!

My parents are visiting us at the moment so it's perfect timing for them...and for our family photo shoot tomorrow with Juliana Wiklund! I took these photos just a few minutes ago so this my quickest shoot-to-blog ever!

Photobook design layouts!

I've had many customers and facebook fans ask me about my photobooks and page designs. So, I thought I'd share a few page layouts of books I've recently designed or ones I am just getting started on.

What I love about a photobook is the storyboard layout. A moment or incident is recorded in a series of photos rather than just a singel photo. I think it brings the whole memory to life for those who were there and makes a more vivid story for those who weren't.

My photobooks are made using a single piece of photopaper to make a double page spread which allows me to design the layout with 1 giant photo over the spread since there is no loss of picture in the fold of the pages. It makes a really powerful impression!

I'll try and post some more layouts in some of my blogs in the future!

Since I have a white background on my both my blog and page layouts it was tricky to show you how the photos are really arranged. So, I have framed each spread in my pictures here on the blog. The book pages do not actually have a frame around them!!

Yesterday I had a photo session with Kajsa and her mum and dad at Tullinge Trädgårds Torp...my studio outdoors! It was so lovely watching them as a family through my lens. Kajsa was so calm and content..a result of being showered with love and attention. I think the pictures speak for themselves!

Yesterday though, I broke my rule and had 2 sessions although I told my second family that they would have to wait a few weeks to see their pictures...but they were just so many great photos in their set I couldn't resist editing a few already.

Vincent playing at Tullinge Trädgårdstorp!

This weekend I met Vincent, 15 months, and his family at Tullinge Trädgårdstorp for an Autumn shoot. The day before the shoot it was 18 degrees and I thought, perfect! But come the day of the shoot, it was a chilly Autumn morning! Oh well, we can't have it all! Vincent was a charm to photograph. When he laughs, his whole face really lights up! I had loads of fun following him play around the big park in front of the old houses, playing bubbles and running away from his parents! He certainly keeps them on their toes!

I just loved his little outfit. His jeans and shoes are so cool!

With my last Summer wedding done I can breathe out and say...What a year it's been!

I'm actually on maternity leave and have my hands full with our little Oskar each day until about 6pm when Olof comes home from work. Only then can I get down to blogging, editing photos, creating client galleries or designing photobooks while also trying to share some family time before Oskar goes to bed! It's a constant battle to balance family life and running/developing my business. I guess there are many out there who recognise this difficulty. It's not made easier either by the fact that I've had far more clients this year than expected and that they nearly all want to upgrade their packages!! (Really, I'm not complaining!)

The result of all this though is that I'm constantly playing catch up! At least I have no more families waiting for blog pictures but now I'm playing catch up on the client gallery front..but I'm nearly done there too! And then I have a whole bunch of families and brides working on their picture selection so I have a HUGE amount of photo editing and album designing to do this Autumn. Which brings me to my dilemma... how many more bookings should I accept this Autumn?! I've been umming and aarhing for a few weeks over this topic and I've decided I'm going to limit my number of booking from now till Christmas. So, If you are thinking of booking me for a shoot before the end of the year you need to get in touch because I don't have that many sessions left available!

Today, instead of working on a client gallery as I had planned I decided to take my camera into the garden and capture Oskar and his 2 front teeth! I've been trying to find time for this for about 3 weeks...and today was finally the day! It's really quite a challenge trying to entertain him, stop him from eating grass and mud and shoot at the same time...all by myself!... but I managed to get a few..so here they come, our darling Oskar, the cutest baby in the world - 10 months old!

Malin + Gunnar + Landsort + gale force winds = stunning wedding portraits!

I helgen var jag den lyckad bröllopsfotograf i Stockholms skärgård åt Malin och Gunnar!
I've been looking forward to shooting Malin and Gunnar all Summer long and got really nervous this week when the forecast for Landsort on Saturday changed twice per day! Showers, cloudy or rain, what would it be? I was a little nervous...but not Gunnar and Malin! "A little rain is nothing," said the Swedish coast guard! Well, if you are happy to shoot in the rain then so am I!! ...and we did.
At first it was just spitting a little so the shelter of overhanging roof tops kept Malin and Gunnar pretty dry...and then the umbrellas came out...

...and then...well, the 15 m/s (roughly 40 mph) gale force winds and Forest Gumps 'sideways' rain came in straight off the sea...just before we planned to take the panaoramic shots on the clifffs by the sea... run!! We took shelter in a grimy workshop to wait it out . (Big thanks to Sjöfartsverket/Swedish Marine Authority for opening up for us!) But the wind and rain just didn't stop! So, we carried on inside and got some stunning shots. I think you have agree! I just followed the light and my job was super easy because Malin and Gunnar are so beautiful and just radiate happiness! They rocked!

Eventually, the weather calmed a little and we could brave the outdoors with the wind and rain, that just fell from above, to climb over slippery rocks and get the shot in front of Landsorts lighthouse! Yes! We got there in the end!

As I packed up my things to leave the island I was left feeling happy. I knew I had taken some great shots and the skies were clearing up. I could even see a patch of blue which meant Malin and Gunnar could have their wedding in front of the lighthouse afterall! Perfect!

Thanks Malin and Gunnar for choosing me to document your day! I loved every second! Congratulations again!

p.s. I just have to add this one personal shot! The afternoon before the wedding I walked around the island looking for locations and found this spot filled with loads of fishing gear and thought it'd be perfect! But... just as I started shooting this location with Malin and Gunnar, the skies opened for real and we ran like the wind!...but at least I got this beautiful shot of my favourite boys!!

About 2 weeks ago I attended a workshop with a whole bunch of lovely wedding photographers in Stockhom. It was arranged by the wonderful Juliana of More Than Words. Juliana shared her tips and secrets on reaction shooting techniques using one of her previous customers as our wedding couple.
I had Oskar strapped to by belly in a baby björn so I didn't get to shoot much, just watch, listen, learn and chat...a few snaps I managed to get anyway...

One of the great things about being a photographer is meeting so many new people. And it's not like meeting new people at work or through friends because my new people always come to me full of excitement and throughout their session they laugh and have fun and I get to see the best side of everybody! It's great! But then sometimes I get to photograph people I already know, my friends which is even better... but much more nerve racking! I did this shoot of Maira, Henrik and baby Arvid 3 weeks ago just before my trip to Skåne so they are surely desperate to see their pictures! So, here are some of my favourites!

Luke 19 months!

So, the last, but not least, of my Skåne families! Luke and his parents had such fun in the garden playing with bubbles, picking and eating berries and playing tickles... Luke is ticklish! His parents shower him with so much love there was no shortage of kisses and cuddles. It's beautiful to watch... but looking back through the photos I saw mostly laughter! Amalia and Ivan: the FULL post!

I helgen var jag den lyckad bröllopsfotograf i Stockholmt Amalia och Ivan!
I took 2537 photos yesterday so it's been a real challenge to pick out 10-20 for this blog post!...so... I didn't! Here come LOADS which I think reflect Amalia and Ivan both as a couple and of their day!

We took a whole variety of shots for the engagement session a few weeks ago and had a great time. Afterwards they said how they liked the natural reportage style more than the soppy mushy style so that's exactly what we did yesterday. Well, that plus a few old fashioned serious faced couple shots!

Our day started at their home where I followed Amalias transition from every day girl on Söder to a fabulous bride fit for a grand wedding! Afterwards we met Ivan outside the church for their 'first look' before the ceremony. Ivan was so emotional during the ceremony he got my tears going too!

Here are a few favourites followed by a slideshow with a whole lot more!!

The portraits were taken on Södermalm and we got into the swing of things with a little surprise! Amalia had mentioned that one of their favourite movies was Du Levande (you, the living) so I googled a bit and found a perfectly appropriate wedding scene acted out to beautiful guitar music. With a little help from You Tube they enjoyed 5 minutes emotional relaxation while my assistant, Louise, and I started the shoot!

America meets Sweden!

I was recently down in Skåne visiting family so a few families took the chance to book me. I had a crazy afternoon in Krågeholm shooting no less than 7 children! I was exhausted afterwards!! My first shoot was of Andrea and her 3 kiddies, Filippa 2½ and twins Markus and Rebecka 1.

Markus is so like his dad and Rebecka is a spitting image of her mum! It's quite uncanny! Something all the children had in common though was really bright eyes! Stunning!

We added a quick session the day after when dad Per was home from working abroad and could also join in. We had plenty of fun playing in their garden under the fruit trees and on the swing. Markus though, I could barely keep up with... but Fillipa was a natural, she speaks with her eyes!

So, here comes an even longer blog than yesterday...but then, it is a family of 5! I hope you like these shots Andrea!

Baby Peter: 3 months old!

2 weeks ago I met this really beautiful family from America. We had the perfect overcast weather for an outdoor shoot... until it rained and we took shelter under the awning in my garden!

Peter is compeltely showered with love. It's not often you meet a family who share their love so openly..it made my job so easy! I could just focus on capturing all those precious moments that they and their families so far away will treasure. Even looking through the photos today to prepare this blog recalled the feeling of this shoot! I love it when that happens!

So here comes probably the longest family blog entry ever! There were just too many wonderful shots to choose from!

I have a crazy week coming up with a backlog of family shoots to edit and blog and a wedding next weekend. I am aiming for 1 family blog per day so lets see if I can manage it!

Oskar crawling!

So Oskar has been creeping around the floor for a few months now. he drags himself along on his belly using his left elbow and right hand. It's really quite cute... and he's been learning to walk since midsummer too. He walks along the furniture like a pro now! So I really didn't expect him to crawl in the traditional sense... but look at him now!

The toy he playing with is an indoor hockey ball. The cheapest and most loved toy at the moment!...oh yeah and if you think he looks different from the post last week it's because I gave him his first official haircut and chopped an inch off the length on top!

Albums and Photobooks

I've been getting a few questions about my albums recently so I thought it was a about time to share some pictures! I currently offer essentially 2 different products. Both are beautiful and have a feeling of luxury in different ways.

My newest product is the Saal photobook which I love! I just got my sample copy so it's available to get your paws on whenever you want! I reccomend the 19 x 19 cm for my family and chidren shoots. The book is custom made and the layout designed based on your selection of photos. The minimum number if pages is 22 (or 11 double spreads) but there is essentially no limit!

The book has a lovely glossy cover, pretty much as you have seen before...but then you open the book and then you see why it is special. The pages are extra thick and the pictures jump out at you unlike the highstreet photobook you can buy and that because these books are made with REAL photopaper!

The book lays completely flat so that no part of a picture is lost in the seam of the book like ordinary books. This allows me to design the book with large pictures across the double spread. It looks great! Once my little Oskar turns 1 I'll be designing a book of photos of his first year! I can't wait!

I'll be offering 28 x 28 cm versions of this book which will be perfect for my wedding couples. With the unlimited number of pages available I can design a book to tell the story of your entire day, or as much of it as I am present!

I also offer a traditional album for my family and children shoots which are really luxurious. Each album comes in it's own case and has 12 pages. These are leather look and are 11 x 11 cm. There is 1 picture per page mounted in a quadratic frame. Each page is really thick and durable that even the young children themselves could thumb through them without being able to bend the pages.

I also offer similar albums in a larger 17 x 17 cm format with 24 pages which are prefect for my wedding couples. The smaller ones I think make perfect thank-you presents for the parents!

I'll be putting together a new family photography package in the coming days with the new photobook so keep an eye out. For those of you who are currently choosing your photos and you want around 25 photos then the photobook would be the perfect way to present them so send me an email or give a call for prices.

Robert and Annette Married in Huddinge!

What a day?! Despite the tunder and rain Annette and Robert had a pefect wedding in Huddinge this afternoon. They were so overwhelmed and nervous, I could see hands shaking in the church but they relaxed in time for their portraits after the ceremony. I guess all the laughter and hugs outside the church really helped! It was probably the quickest portrait session ever with only 35 minutes but I think we got some lovely shots in the end! Congratulations again Annette and Robert!

Amalia and Ivan: soon to be married!

9 months ago today our little Oskar was born... how times flies!

Today Oskar had a check up at the health clinic and he is now a whopping 7870 grams and is 71.1 cm long!!

So, in honour of this special day here comes a whole selection of photos of Oskar taken over the Summer. I've hardly had any time for personal photography (due to too many clients!!) so these pictures go back to May... but we'll start with the ones I snapped quickly in the garden this afternoon showing all his expressions and his love of clambering!

Scarlett had booked me back in May to take some family shots and I was thrilled! I had met Scarlet and Sydney last year on photo shoot with morethanwords for a Semper campaign and remembered Sydney's stunning blue eyes!..Then Scarlet said, and I'm pregnant, with twins! Lets book the shoot early then!... So, yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Scarlet at 28 weeks pregnant with her husband and 19 month old little girl...and what a lovely family! They are so playful and happy and all excited about the two little babies in Scarlets tummy! Sydney is so cute when she kisses the babies! So much love in the air!

I have soooo many bookings coming up in the next 2 weeks so this is probably my last long blog for a while. I'll do my best though to keep the blogs coming in this busy period!

I've known Sarah and Niklas these past 5 years, basically since moving to Sweden, but my husband has known Niklas his whole life since their mums are friends and met when Olof was just a little boy! Whilst we were in Skåne this Summer we of course all got together with our children for a couple of days. Sarah and Niklas have a new addition to their family, little Viola who was just 8 weeks old! Her big sister Beatrice is now 2 and was the perfect protective big sister. Whilst Viola was sleeping, I got some lovely pictures of Bea playing with her mum and dad in the garden. I couldn't resist taking a few close up photos of the sleeping beauty Viola either.

I helgen var jag en av de två lyckade bröllopsfotografer som fick fota Mikaela och Fredrik i Stockholm!
So, todays post is a looong one! It's special in a few ways, firstly the bride is a Stockholm wedding photographer! You can check out her stunning photos on her website and blog. Secondly, I shot only reportage all day! I was second shooting for Juliana and while Ju was busy taking couple portraits I followed Mikaela and Fredriks guests on a 2 hour boat trip from The National Museum to Ingarö Church!

When Olof and I got married 3 years ago we had a BBQ the day after our wedding on a beach on Ingarö and we considered hiring a boat to take our guests from Ulfsunda Slott (where we got married and stayed the night) to the beach but in the end took cars instead since only half our guests could stay the extra day. But today I got to make that lovely jouney anyway!

Since this is a photojournalistic shoot I've processed all photos in black and white. I hope you like!

Leo - almost 2 years!

Ealier this week I photographed Leo, his mum, his nanna and his aunti at Karlbergs Slotts Park. Karen, Leo's mum is a fellow English lady so I got to do the session in English which was great for me!! Leo's nanna and aunt flew over to visit for a few days so we took the chance to get some fun extended family photos.

Unfortunately Leo's dad was on an airplane at the time and couldn't join us but hopefully these photos will show him how much fun we had running around, playing with a giant basket ball and making bubbles! We were rather tired at the end of the session!

Since my Oskar slept so long today I had the chance to edit lots of my favourite photos, and there are lots! Leo's eyes are so unusual...a sort of green with a brown center...beautiful!..and so many differnt expressions. He looks so much older in some of the photos don't you think?

This evening I photographed a lovely family at Karlberg Slotts Park but thsoe pictures will have to wait. I have been working every evening for the past 2 weeks until very late and this evening is supposed to be an evening of no post processing, no pictures... but I couldn't resist a very quick look at these shots I took yesterday of our little Oskar! He is 8½ months old and aleady walking with his 'learn to walk' wagon! I'm so proud...and he just LOVES it! So, a quick blog post in celebration of this big 'step'!

Elias 1 year old!

Elias turned 1 year old last week so his proud parents booked me (2 months ago) this milestone! Little did they know at that time that we would also be documenting some of his first steps! Elias learnt to walk by himself last week and there was no stoping him today! He just walked and walked and walked... with his little hands held out the the side...sooo cute! My little Oskar is walking now when we hold his hands, I can't wait to see the day he walks without me!

Robert and Annette Engagement

This evening I had the pleasure of meeting Annette and Robert for their wedding photography planning meeting. I heard about their holiday in Crete. They took a beach walk one evening, except the deck along the pebbled beach was all damaged and tricky to walk on in the dark so they just sat and looked out at the sea. Then Robert 'saw' something at the sea edge and made Annette go and look when he 'found' something he'd been looking for for a long time... an engagement ring! He asked Annette to marry him almost exactly 1 year ago and she (forgot) to say yes! They are getting married in 1 month at Huddinge Kyrka and I'm really looking forward to their ceremony. They are so quick to laugh so I think it's going to be beautiful!

Yesterdays post was a real sneak preview and todays really is a full post!

Huge congratulations again to Jessica and Magnus! It was so lovely to be a part of your day and to get so close to you both. Your love for eachother shines in every photograph!

We had quite a tour around town yesterday starting the day on Djurgården for the portrait session, the ceremony was at Hedvig Eleonora Kyrka on Östermalms Torg, a few more portraits with Åsa and Olle (bridesmaid and best man) on AF Chapman and finally the bridal toast on Skeppsholmen! phew... I was very glad to have a great assistant yesterday.. Thank you for all your help Gisela!

Here are some my favourites of the day starting with the 'first look' which I recommend all my couples to do. It's such an emotional moment and definately worth capturing on camera! Those feelings of excitement and bliss will come rushing back every time you look at these pictures in the future!

New friend and collegue Jenny Sandberg

My trip to Skåne has indeed been very productive! I'm been an avid blog reader of fellow photographer Jenny Sandberg this past year or so and Jenny and I have past a few comments back and forth. Since I had a photo shoot not so far away we took the chance to meet in person. I met Jenny and her lovely family at her home in Bjäred as was welcomed like an old friend! We talked all things photography and families (Jenny and David having 3 kids, the youngest only 5 months old) so there was no shortage of conversation! I took a look at her beautiful wedding books and albums and was thouroughly inspired!
Jenny was even so kind as to take 15 minutes aside and took some pictures of my family! It is not so often we get to be in a picture together so this was really the kindest thing in the world! Thank you so much Jenny! I look forward to doing the same for you next time!

Ginny and her girls Amelia (4 months) and Taylor (22 months)

I've spent some of my Summer vacation in Båstad, Skåne where my family has a Summer house. We had the most amazing weather... 29 degrees and lovely warm sea to swim in! Even Oskar enjoyed a little paddle!!

Anyway, I finally had the opportunity to photograph Ginny and her girls since I was in her neighbourhood at last. She had been waiting for me to make a trip South since the Spring. We are both part of the same network of English speaking families Mums In Sweden.

Ginny is normally the one behind the camera when it comes to photos of her family so she really wanted some natural fun pictures of her with Amelia and Taylor! Amelia was so calm and sweet (and mostly slept) and Taylor loved to play with her mum swinging up high in the air. Everybody thinks that Taylor is much older than she is because she's so tall, and has such lovely thick hair, but she's she's only 22 months...not even 2 yet! We took these pictures at Ginny's horse farm Acasia in Flyinge and here are some of my favorites.

I hope you like them Ginny...and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

For those of you in Skåne reading this who would like to book me, I am most likely making a trip down to Båstad again mid-August so just get in touch and we can see what we can arrange. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Jessica and Magnus in Tullinge. I'll be photographing their wedding next month in Stockholm so we met today to discuss their plans. Included in their wedding photography package is an engagement shoot which we did this evening too. We had good fun and got some lovely photos. Don't you just think they are so beautiful?! They are so romantic and their love shows so clearly in how they look at eachother and hold eahother... I can't wait to shoot their wedding!

For those of you new to the idea of engagement photography, I can really recommend it! Not only is it great fun but it'll help you get to know your photographer better before your big day so that you can relax more in front of the camera and get even better wedding photographs. Having a few more professional photos to frame at home or use in your wedding party program is course just a bonus!

Casper, 8½ months

This evening I had a family shoot with little Casper who wasn't in the best of moods until his mum started to sing, his dad threw him in the air and his little rabbit was brought out! Then we had lots of smiles! Casper already has 4 teeth, 2 in the bottom and then 2 on the top...just not his middle ones. Samuel got a little sister just 3 weeks ago so today's shoot was to photograph this lovely family with their new member Vera who is just 3 weeks old! Vera slept through most of our fun and games in the garden even though we made quite a bit of noise! Samuel seemed to enjoy sticking out his tongue which is something my little Oskar enjoys doing just now...perhaps it's a boy thing?!!

Rebecca and Andy: Wedding Ceremony!

Many couples getting married think that it's pointless to photograph the wedding ceremony because it's too dark in a church. Well that might be true if you use an amature or even a prosumer camera but not if you use a professional camera! Here's some proof! All these shots were taken hand held without a flash.

Rebecca and Andy got married last week at Skansen's Seglora Church and as you can see they got some great shots of their ceremony, the real moments and emotions caught on camera...true photojournalism!

Yesterday I shot a wedding with Juliana of More than Words and the forecast was rain! Oh no! BUT... on the whole rain held off for the 2 hour portrait session and we had an amazing time! Rebacca and Andy were just ooozing love and laughter making our job really quite easy! Rebecca works in finance but she could have another career as a model I'm sure: she was such a natural at finding poses for us and looked stunning in every shot!

Most of the photo session was at Skansen which gave us the amazing opportunity of shooting Rebecca and Andy in the most super locations! The ceremony followed at Seglora church but for now the portrait session will have to be enough to satisfy your curiosity! Thanks so much Juliana, Rebacca and Andy for a really fun day! A few shots are shown here and a slide ahow with even more comes at the end of this post! Baby Stella, 6 months young!

What a beautiful day it's been today after the past few days of grey skies and rain! To end the day I had a family shoot with Maria, Andreas and their 6 month old baby Stella who has the most beautiful eyes with long thick dark eylashes! Here's a small selection of the pictures. It's a real variety: we have some elegant portraits, family candids and playful baby shots. I hope you like the shots Maria and Andreas as much as I do! You have lots to choose from!

Tilda and Ida

So, here is the full blog just for lovely Ida and Tilda! This was a really fun photo shoot and a tough blog to select photos for since there were so many lovely shots. I just couldn't decide which ones to share...so there are quite a few here!

Tilda is the budding balarina, so graceful and elegant for just 3 years old!

Ida is the brave gymnast who showed me her cartwheels and rolypolies! I was actually a gymnast when I was younger and I just wish I could still do those some of those things!

Oskar 6 months young!

As promised here are some more pictures of Oskar taken yesterday! I just can't believe that he is 6 months old already! But then I look at these photos and he looks so much older.. it must be all his hair!

For those interested in used both my 90mm 2.8 and 50mm 1.4 lenses using only natural light to take these shots.

When I tickle Oskar he laughs out load and always bites his hand! It's sooo cute!

Here you can just about see that Oskar's eyes are changing colour. Just around the pupil you can see that the iris is not so blue any more... I guess he's going to end up with my eye colour... hazel...that means a sort of browny-green for you Swedes!

...and he still loves his books! This one, 'The Hungry Catapiller' is a classic. It's so lovely that he will read the same book as I did when I was a child!

Here are some shots taken against the sun of him exploring the grass and flowers around him. Oskar has really only been able to sit unassisted for any prolonged period of time since a week ago so this was his absolute first time to sit and explore the nature for himself! He was so focussed!

So much to do and so little time! Oskar of course is where most of time goes these days and life couldn't be better... well if I lost the hayfever I might be a bit happier! Oskar turned 6 months last week so I had to document this time of course. He can now sit up all be himself and play which is so lovely! And in honour of this milestone here's a picture of Oskar enjoying the Spring!

I also did a short shoot of the two beautiful sisters Tilda and Ida! There will be lots more shots of them coming soon!

Here are a few sneak preview shots of a wedding I shot today assisting Anna Roström! Anna hailed for an assistant at the last minute and lucky me got the chance to see her in action. It was great day! The bride and groom were so natural in front of the camera so we were treated to some stunning shots. Oskar's Naming Ceremony, 10th April

Our family is not religious so a christening didn't seem quite right but we still wanted to celebrate our little Oskar and his addition to the larger family. So we had a name giving ceremony for him in sunny Spain, where half of my family live! We all flew down together with Olof's parents and brothers. My brother and his wife even flew in for the weekend from the UK. It was a perfect day, definately one we will remember!

The ceremony was out in a lovely park in Guadamar and took just 15 minutes. The idea was that at the end of teh cermeony everyone would come and give Oskar a kiss and he would give everyone a helium filled balloon to let fly. There were just 2 problems... firstly, Oskar slept through the ceremony and secondly, the baloons kept popping, so a bunch of 14 baloons turned into a sad pair!

During the ceremony we read this poem which I thought I'd share with you all as a reminder to how we can all make the world a better place!

CHILDREN LEARN WHAT IS LIVED
If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn.
If children live with hostility, they learn to fight.
If children live with ridicule, they learn to be shy.
If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty.
BUT.....

Eva-Lena 32 weeks pregnant

Eva-Lena is my dearest Swedish friend. In fact she was a bridesmaid when I got married! When she told me she pregnant I was thrilled since there'll only be a 6 month gap between our little ones. Of course I had to offer to take her pregnancy shots for her. I had hoped for an outdoor shoot but the weather wasn't so great but we got some lovely shots from her balcony! Eva-Lena is so photogenic and looks great in every shot I think!

Today marks 4 whole months since our lovely Oskar was born so new pictures are in order! He's such a delight and I can't imagine my life without him. He laughs out loud and giggles and he just melts my heart!

Anne and Henri part 2

So here is part 2 of Anne and Henri's wedding photos! I just love black and white photos and since this day was shot in the photojournalistic style I thought it was rather appropriate to blog (almost) entirely black and white shots! A huge thanks to Juliana once again for asking me to assist. This day was a real challenge of speed and light. Big congrats to Anne and Henri!

this lovely light affect is not shooting into the light but an effect of the lens steaming up after coming inside from the -12 degree cold outside!

Anne is so fotogenic and looked great from every angle but this shot is probably my favourite.

Sneak Preview: Wedding of Anne and Henri

Anne and Henri were married this afternoon at Stockholm Town Hall. I followed Juliana Wiklund of Morethanwords again for more inspiration and expert tips of the trade! First we took some reportage couple shots in one of their favourite cafe's on Södermalm...Copacabana on Horntull Strand. Afterwards we went to the Grand Hotel where Anne and Henri will spend their wedding night and we met up with some of their friends and their beautiful daughter Ella.

Hanna and Ingemar's ceremony and snow!

As promised here comes the rest of a very long review of Hanna and Ingemar's wedding. The church was wonderful. So bright, a long aisle, fantastic organ, exquisite chandeliers and that lovely corridor of stained glass windows seen in their portraits.

The shoot started with a 'first look' staged by Juliana which almost went wrong but worked wonderfully in the end!

Hanna had fixed the most wonderful floral and candel arrangement leading up the alter with flowers of muted tones to match her bouquet.

Oskar's 3 month checkup

Oskar turned 3 months on friday and yesterday he had his 3 month check up. He's now all of 6 kg which means he's doubled his lowest weight and he is just a snippet under 61 cm long! Time flies by so fast. What happened to my tiny baby? He's dissapeared and turned into a cute little boy! He's making such big steps at the moment and his daily tummy time has turned into something he now enjoys and is quite a master a holding up his own head!... the small things we mothers find achievements are quite silly really when I think back to the time before Oskar!

Wedding of Hanna and Ingemar

Today I had the pleasure to assist Juliana Wiklund of morethanwords.se to shoot a wedding. Something I haven't done since last Summer! What a great day!

Today is the day to make the big step into marriage for Ingemar and Hanna. Although they themselves said that it felt like a natural step and was really not a big deal! They are two very cool cucumbers, very much in love. And today is Ingemar's birthday so it's double congratulations!

Today was also a big step for me... I went somewhere without Oskar for the first time! I left him at home with his dad and my mum. I cried for about 10 minutes after I left home but as soon as I got busy at the shoot I was fine...although I was extra emotional and was brought to tears on more than one occasion!

Here are some shots taken during the portrait session. I made today an extra challenge for myself...1 camera and 1 lens! I of course took my new D700 and my 50 mm f1.4. It was a real challenge of composition to work without a zoom lens but I really enjoyed it and think the results speak for themselves. More shots will follow later in the week of shots taken during the ceremony and out in the snow!..yes Hanna was brave and ventured out into the blustery cold snow!
